My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lina! 🤍🐾
Lina is a beautiful 7-year-old black-and-white terrier mix with a gentle soul and a wise, loving heart. This lovely girl weighs about 67 pounds and has a calm, sweet presence that makes her a wonderful companion. Friendly and affectionate, Lina enjoys being around people and would love a home where she can relax, feel secure, and be cherished.

Lina is heartworm positive, but she qualifies for our Silver Paws VIP Program, making her a special senior sweetheart who comes with extra support and benefits for her adopter. She’s looking for a compassionate family willing to provide the care she needs and the love she so deeply deserves during this stage of her life. ❤️

Lina is ready for her forever home—a peaceful, loving place where she can enjoy her golden years, soak up affection, and finally have a family to call her own. 🐶

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
