Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Emery 2½ years old Female (Spayed) Adoption Fee: $145
Emery is a gentle soul who’s had a tough start. She was found outside in the cold and kept safe for a few days by a kind person who knew she needed more long-term care. On January 9th, she arrived at WARL scared, hungry, and unsure of the world around her.
With time, patience, and kindness, Emery has begun to show us who she really is: a sensitive, intelligent cat who wants to trust but needs someone willing to go at her pace. She can be a little feisty when she’s overwhelmed, but once she feels safe, she enjoys batting at toys, exploring scratching posts, and settling into cozy spots.
Best for Emery would be a quiet, calm home where she can decompress and blossom. No young children (loud noises and fast movements frighten her) No other cats or dogs Someone patient who understands that trust takes time, and is worth it
Emery isn’t mean; she’s simply a cat who has learned to protect herself. With the right adopter, she has every chance to become a loving, loyal companion who feels safe for the first time in her life.
If those times don’t work, just fill out the Adoption Inquiry Form on our website under the FORMS tab, and we’ll gladly arrange a meet-and-greet that fits your schedule.
