Meet Posey (GA) — a tiny survivor with a heart big enough to fill a home.
At just 8–9 weeks old (as of intake in mid-January 2026), this little Poodle has already lived through more than most dogs ever will. Posey was found beneath a house on a flooded property, clinging to life after a devastating storm. Her mom and all but one of her siblings didn’t make it. Posey and her lone surviving littermate were the only ones pulled from the wreckage — fragile, cold, and fighting. Despite everything she’s endured, Posey radiates sweetness. She came into rescue with severe eye infections, and our veterinary team is carefully assessing and treating her so she can heal comfortably and fully. Even with sore eyes and a rough start, she leans into gentle touch, melts into arms, and gives off that unmistakable “I’m safe now” sigh that only rescued puppies know how to make. She’s adorable. She’s resilient. She’s soft, snuggly, and impossibly cute. And she deserves a future filled with love, stability, and joy — not fear or floodwater.
