My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petra  smart, silly, snuggly, and a total lovebug!

Petra is a 10-month-old, 38-lb hound mix with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She’s goofy, playful, fun, and incredibly affectionate. Petra has lots of puppy energy and loves to run, play, and be silly—but once she’s worn herself out, she’s all about the cuddles and chill time.

She adores attention, especially belly rubs, and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Petra does great with other dogs and happily lives with her two foster dog siblings. She is both pad and outdoor trained and she catches on quickly to new tricks like sit, stay, and paw, making her a joy to train. She is a dream on the leash and would love someone who can provide her with love and exercise to help fulfill her little puppy brain and body.

Petra is ready for a forever home that will embrace her joyful spirit, playful energy, and loving nature—along with plenty of belly rubs, of course!
