My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Eliza!

Introducing Eliza, one of two who came in with Christy from the shelter. She’s about 1 year and 3 months old and has a gentle, sweet personality just waiting to shine.

Shy at First, Sweet Forever

Eliza may be a little shy initially, but with a bit of time and patience, she warms up beautifully and becomes incredibly sweet and loving. Those quiet moments of trust are truly special with her.

Great with Others

Eliza gets along well with other cats and kids, making her a wonderful fit for many different types of homes.

Healthy & Ready

She is up to date on all vaccines and has tested negative on her combo test—healthy and ready to start her next chapter.

Ready for Her Forever Home

Eliza is available for adoption with a fee of $150 and is patiently waiting for the loving family she deserves.

If Eliza sounds like your perfect match, come meet her! She’s ready to find her forever home

More about this rescue

The Homeless Pets Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by Dr. Michael Good, an Atlanta veterinarian who saw a need to create an organization that could assist animal shelters and pet owners in need. In the Atlanta area alone, there are more than 100,000 animals destroyed each year for lack of a home. The Foundation provides critical medical care, food, foster care and comfort to these homeless animals.
