Sasha is a sweet female Mastiff mix, 69 lbs and about 1½ years old, who is looking for a safe place to land. She was found as a stray and is believed to have possibly been hit by a car. A veterinary exam showed no broken bones, which is great news, but she is still being monitored for any possible after effects.
Sasha is a bit timid at first, which is understandable given what she has likely been through. With a slow approach and a calm, gentle greeting, she begins to relax and show her softer side. She walks well on a leash and seems to appreciate quiet reassurance.
As we spend more time getting to know Sasha, we will continue to share updates about her personality and needs. For now, she is a gentle soul who could really use patience, kindness, and a loving home.
