Marcie is a 5-1/2 year old, 12 pound sweetheart who has already lived through more than most cats ever will. She came from a hoarding situation and then endured a flooded shelter, and while those experiences made her cautious at first, they also revealed just how resilient she truly is.
Now in a loving foster home, Marcie is finally getting the chance to show who she really is — and she’s thriving. Her foster mom says Marcie’s absolute favorite place is a warm lap, where she melts into affection like she’s been waiting her whole life for that safety. And when she’s not snuggling? She’s rolling around, being silly, and showing off her goofy, playful side.
Marcie greets her foster mom at the door, seeks out attention, and fills the home with her spunky, curious personality. She’s affectionate, expressive, and ready to bond deeply with someone who will give her the love and patience she deserves.
This brave little girl has come so far. Now she just needs her forever person — someone who will cherish her soft heart, celebrate her quirks, and give her the stable, loving home she’s been waiting for.
