Meet Maui the Siamese! He is an active and sturdy built male chocolate point that was abandoned in a rural area of eastern NC. He is very curious and affectionate to people. He does not get along well with other cats however. He needs to be a solo cat in a loving indoor home. MAUI does funny playful antics that will draw your attention. He loves toys, and being held. MAUI is neutered, tested negative for FELV and FIV. He is up to date on distemper and rabies vaccines, and is microchipped.
He is a special needs cat as he has a medical issue and needs specific prescription food and monitoring. He also is under medical care for a possible eyelid issue. We are open to discuss his needs with serious adoption applicants. Vet reference check and home visit is part of our process.

Once the adoption application is received, a home visit will be set up. If that goes well and is approved, then a vet check is completed (if the applicant has recently owned an animal, if not, two professional references will be required). Once both of those are approved, then the adoption fee will need to be paid.
