Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu came into rescue as an owner surrender. Lulu's owner could not get her to stop peeing in the house and she decided that Lulu needed a different home. Lulu is absolutely adorable but she can be snippy from what we have been told. We have not experienced this yet from her so our experiences with her have been good, so far. Lulu loves to be with her person. She does ok with other dogs but she can get jealous when she is with her person and will growl sometimes. She would probably prefer to be an only "child" so she can get all of the attention and loves for herself and not have to share. Lulu would probably be fine with cats although we have nome to test her with. We would not recommend her for a home with smaller children because of what we were told about her snippiness. Older kids who can respect her space would probably be fine. Lulu is leash trained and crate trained. She can be an escape artist and a runner so it is important that you have a secure, fenced yard and/or walk her routinely. Lulu is a sweet girl who will be a wonderful companion and if you enjoy traveling, she would make a great traveling companion, as well. We were told that Lulu loves to ride!
Lulu saw the vet on 3/4/25 with her original owner and was found to have no issues. She has been started on Simparica Trio for flea control and heartworm prevention with us and had a negative heartworm test completed on 1/9/26. She did test negative for intestinal parasites on 1/15/26. Lulu weighed 9.8 pounds as of 1/15/26. She is fully vetted now and ready to find her forever family.

Lulu's adoption fee will be $400 to help cover the cost of her vetting and daily care while with us. We will only consider applicants who complete the adoption application and will determine whether the applicant would be a good fit for Lulu based on the info provided in the application. If we feel that you will be a good match for her, we will set up a meet and greet appointment with you.
