My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toodle and Lou!
This dynamic duo is the sweetest pair you’ll meet!

Both Toodle and Lou came from an area over run with cats that we unexpectedly discovered. We don’t know Toodle’s back story, as she showed up to a feeders house one day and just kept coming back. We assume she was at once owned since she has a sweet demeanor. Lou, on the other hand, was put outside of his indoor home when his previous owner could no longer care for him.

Pretty girl, Toodle, is a little more shy and hesitant at first. She seems to have had a scary past life outside, so likes to have the comfort of a hiding spot for a few days until she adjusts to her new surroundings. Once she gets comfy, she blossoms into a friendly, cuddly, sweet, purring machine! She gains her confidence from Lou, who is a lot more “ready to go”. Toodle likes to be brushed and is easy to handle. Sometimes she has a leaky eye, but she lets you wipe away any wateriness with ease. She will curl up in your lap or snuggle in bed with you.

We would love for Toodle and Lou to get adopted together! We believe they would do well in a home with other cats, could adjust to a home with dogs, and could live in a home with kiddos! Toodle may take a few days to adjust in a new home but this pair is the best there is!

Toodle is a little over 1.5 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, and FIV/FELV tested negative. If this sweet purry pair sounds like a match for you, apply today!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
