Welcome to the greatest cat on earth, the Monty show! 6-year-old Monty is a cat of many mysteries; still showing off his personality, we learn more about him each day. Lovable? Check. Lap cat? Yes. Prefer to do his own thing? Also yes. A true cat's cat, we are loving every minute we spend with Monty.
Montty appreciates the finer things in life like soft cozy beds and human snuggles. He prefers dry kibbles over treats or wet food, being a solo kitty over one of the pack, and of course lots of time dedicated to catnaps and watching your favorite shows by your side. He dreams of a nurturing, loving home where he can spend all his 10 lives.

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
