Aurora is a beautiful pup who is in need of a new home. She is with our partner rescue in Louisiana and will be arriving in NJ with her sister on 2/21.

Meet Aurora, the little heart-stealer with a gorgeous dark brindle coat and the personality to match! She’s equal parts playful and snuggly — the kind of pup who thinks belly rubs are a full-time job (for you).

Aurora’s mom is a petite black lab mix, around 35 lbs, who wandered up to the perfect home just in time to have her babies. Mom hit the jackpot and is staying put (spayed and spoiled!). Dad? Well… let’s just say the neighborhood Rottweiler apparently had the freedom — and the charm — to roam!

Now little Aurora is ready to find her own forever home — somewhere she can keep perfecting her puppy zoomies and get all the love she deserves.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
