Parley is shy, curious, and alert, and may be timid when first meeting new people, but after a few minutes she warms up and begins to solicit attention, rubbing on you and purring while receiving pets. Loud or unfamiliar noises can be startling at first, and she may choose to stay in her hidey box until she feels safe, but once comfortable she comes out for gentle affection and tolerates pets well. Seeing her kennelmate receive attention helps boost her confidence, and she’ll often join in to ask for love too.

All adopters will need to participate in a "get to know you" survey and short counseling session to ensure we are making a successful match for the adopter and the animal. Our animals are allowed to go home on the same day in most cases.
