Dusty is a sweet, soulful boy with beautiful green eyes who’s ready to trade his outdoor past for a forever home full of comfort and love. He spent most of his life outside, but over the last few months he’s discovered just how wonderful indoor life can be—and he’s embraced it completely.

Dusty adores being petted and will happily follow you from room to room, keeping you company like a loyal little shadow. He’s friendly and easygoing, getting along well with other cats and even dogs. When he’s not socializing, you’ll likely find him curled up on a soft blanket, soaking in a sunny spot and enjoying a well-earned nap.

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
