Breed: Rottweiler / Husky mix (aka: a Rottsky)
Size: Large (solid, lovable, and occasionally unaware of his own strength)
About Me
Franky Meatballs is a big-hearted goofball who has come a long way from being the shy guy tucked into the corner of his kennel. Once he feels safe, his personality shines — and it’s equal parts teddy bear, couch potato, and professional snack admirer. His signature underbite only adds to his charm and makes his expressions unforgettable.
Franky is a sensitive soul who prefers companionship and reassurance, especially in new or unfamiliar situations. He thrives when he has a trusted human nearby and loves being close to his people.
Franky is affectionate, silly, and deeply loyal. He can be nervous with new experiences, particularly at night, and prefers having a human nearby for confidence. Once comfortable, he’s incredibly sweet, cuddly, and eager for affection.
He enjoys:
Quiet time with his people
Couch lounging
Butt scratches (his absolute favorite)
Treats (very important)
Franky prefers to eat alone and appreciates having his own space during meals.
Training & Manners
Franky has completed training classes and understands basic expectations, though he still benefits from consistency and positive reinforcement. He’s food motivated and responds best to calm, patient guidance.
Energy Level
Low to moderate. Franky enjoys short bursts of play but is happiest relaxing indoors, preferably somewhere air-conditioned. His thick coat makes him sensitive to heat, and he very much appreciates a cool environment.
Ideal Home
Franky would do best in a home without very small children or frail individuals, as he can be clumsy and unaware of his size. He’s looking for a family with a sense of humor, a love of cuddling, and an appreciation for a dog who wants to be near his people.
A home where he can lounge, feel safe, and enjoy companionship would be perfect for this gentle, goofy boy.
Why Franky?
Because he’s funny, loving, and endlessly loyal — the kind of dog who will make you laugh daily and happily claim the couch as our couch.
