My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We would like to introduce you to another wonderful cat available for adoption - Sniffy (or Spiffy, as her foster moms like to call her!). Sniffy came into our care in early December 2025 when her caretaker had to move. Sniffy is about 10 years old and had lived with her person for seven years, so we were concerned that she might not easily adjust to a new person or to living indoors. What we have seen is that Spiffy LOVES indoor life and LOVES being pampered. All she wants is a LAP!

Here's the description provided by her foster mom:

"Spiffy is an elegant and easygoing lady. Her favourite activity is finding a lap to sit on. She loves being groomed. She will sometimes retreat to her bed, just to observe what is going on around her, particularly when she wants to spend some time watching the activity outside of her window".

Spiffy has been examined by our veterinarian, and had her vaccines updated (FVRCP and rabies). Spiffy is spayed, has been treated for fleas and parasites, and tested for FIV / FeLV (negative results). She is still a rather shy girl, so we will be looking for a calm and quiet placement for Spiffy. We are happy to place her as foster-to-adopt to allow her adopter to have time and support as Spiffy settles into her new home.

Go meet their pets

All of our cats and kittens are housed in foster homes on Salt Spring Island and Vancouver Island. Once we have approved an application and completed a telephone interview with an applicant, we set a meeting in the appropriate foster home.

We also hold adoption events to feature our adoptable cats and kittens both in Victoria (at Capital Cat Clinic) and on Salt Spring Island (at Whiskers Pet Store and Foxglove Farm and Garden Centre).
