Izzie is a 4-year-old, 50-pound boxer mix with a remarkable story of love and resilience. Found under a porch with her puppies, she was rescued by children who crawled under the house to bring her and her little ones to safety. Since then, Izzie has been the mama to many dogs here, offering her nurturing spirit and playful energy—but now it’s her turn to be cherished.
Healthy and amazing (she’s cured of Chagas!), Izzie is playful, affectionate, and loves people. She would happily leap into your arms for cuddles and attention. A puppy training class would help her polish her basic commands, but her eagerness to please makes her a quick learner.
Izzie longs for her own forever family—one that will let her cuddle in the cool AC, run and play outdoors, and finally enjoy the love she’s given to so many others. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her new life as the beloved companion she was always meant to be.
Izzie is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 21st. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost.
