Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cinnamon is a sweet, gentle girl who’s ready to close the chapter on motherhood and finally start a life of her own. She’s been an amazing mom, and now it’s her turn to be loved and spoiled.
Cinnamon does very well in her kennel and is always excited to head outside with the others for potty time. She doesn’t run off, comes when called, and is overall a really great, easygoing pup. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and gentle, respectful kids, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes.
Because she’s still decompressing from everything she’s been through, Cinnamon can startle easily and will need a calm, patient home that gives her space and time to settle in. She’s not quite a cuddle-on-the-couch kind of girl yet, being held or sitting close is something she tolerates more than seeks out (for now 😆). With consistency, kindness, and time, her confidence will continue to grow.
If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered dog who just needs a soft place to land and the chance to blossom at her own pace, Cinnamon might be your perfect match. 💕
All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
