Meet Suri 💖🐾

Meet Suri an adorable 15 pound, 5 yr old lhasa apso found as a stray with a friend who’s the same breed. They are not bonded and can be adopted separately or together. They do really like each other but sleep and eat separately. Suri is very dog friendly and will back off quickly if the other dog doesn’t want her too close. She has not been tested with cats but due to her cautious nature she would likely do well. She loves kids and people of all sizes. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and is always very excited when her person gets home. She is also house trained. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Suri will be a wonderful companion for anyone.

Adoption fee is: $350

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Vet reference check : Please contact your vet to give consent for record / information release.

Home Check

Home visit: You will be contacted by a volunteer to set up a time for a virtual home/yard check.

Meet the Pet

Call with Foster or Kennel Manager to set up a meet and greet.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Pay Fee

Pay the adoption donation fee.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
