My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐈🐱🐈Cat-friendly 🐈🐱🐈

Sometimes you need a nice snuggle after a long day. One that makes you know everything will be OK.

If that sounds like just what you are looking for, we would like you to meet Stella. She is a 2-year-old Boxer mix who weighs 62 pounds. Just enough pounds to keep your whole body warm and comfy. She is even happy to take the snuggling right into bed with you at night. If given the chance, she will scooch right up above your head and fall asleep.

When Miss Stella is not cuddling with you, she loves playing with her doggie friends. All types are welcome into her playgroup, even the feline ones. She has been exposed to both horses and chickens and doesn’t appear aggressive toward either. Got kids? Woo Hoo! This sweet lady loves those miniature humans, too!

Stella has been working on lots of new skills. Housetraining, she’s got that down. Crate training, eh, not a big fan. She is working hard on her leash training and will master it with more practice. This smart lady knows how to sit and give you her paw when asked. She gets spurts of energy and enjoys playing with her toys during that time. Afterwards, more cuddle time.

Stella would do best in a home with kids and activity. Also, other dogs to play with in the yard or on daily walks to burn some energy. She is just a puppy at heart, so that she will thrive with continued training. You will love her sweet and playful personality.

Stella is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $175. To meet her complete an application at PawsitiveTailsKC.org.

No more cold or cuddle-free nights for you once you adopt this darling. She will make sure of that!

Go meet their pets

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.

Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.

More about this rescue

Pawsitive Tails strives to be something different in the animal adoption community. We simply want to help dogs and puppies find new homes by matching the right dog to the right family.

Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes.
