Betty Sue was named fondly by her family after Coal Miner’s Daughter—and the name fit her perfectly from the start. As a tiny kitten, she believed the raccoon family in her yard were her family. She could often be found playing with the baby raccoons and even joining them at mealtime, completely convinced she belonged right by their side.
When winter arrived and the raccoons hunkered down, Betty Sue was left alone. As the cold set in, she was discovered huddled against the house, trying to stay warm. That was the moment her family knew it was time to bring her indoors—and once inside, her sweet, loving personality truly shined.
Betty Sue is a very gentle, affectionate girl who loves her wet food and absolutely adores lickable treats. The moment she knows a treat is coming, she’ll happily head-bump your hand over and over until she gets it—her own adorable way of saying “please.”
Due to changing life circumstances, her family reached out to Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue & TNR to help Betty Sue begin a new chapter. Now, this deserving girl is on a journey to find love again—and she’s more than ready for a forever home filled with warmth, kindness, and affection.
