My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nimbus!

Sweet older gentleman that definitely does not act his age actively seeking forever home with unlimited butt scratches and all the toys he could ever want 👀

Nimbus is a seven year old lab mix but he has no idea that he's seven years old. He acts more like a three year old. That's how we know there's lab in him 😉

Nimbus loves everyone and everything. Butt scratches are top tier and he's always down for a snack. He's a smart guy and knows his cues, loves people, LOVES TENNIS BALLS (it's an obsession, really), and loves going for walks. We've been working on his leash training because when he came to us, he was pretty pull-y on a leash. He's picking up on it very quickly but consistency will be key.

Again, he's a lot more active than his age would lead you to believe and doesn't quite know his limits. Being an older guy, he does tend to be a little stiff and does have arthritis. Our vet believes it stems from an old injury that never healed correctly coupled with being an older guy. We have him on joint supplements and he's doing well but he really does not understand "take it easy" and will go HARD with a tennis ball until he falls over. Has he learned his lesson? No. Will he ever learn his lesson? Again, no.

Typical stubborn old man 🙄

Nimbus does well with other dogs and he does well with cats. He's got a healthy fear of cats so he's probably been smacked by one before. We're looking for a home with kids 12+ just because we don't know if he's ever been around any smaller kids but exceptions may be made for the right family.
