My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mara — The Little Survivor With a Big, Bright Heart

Mara may be small, but her spirit is huge. Found living beside a dumpster with her mama, Tara, this sweet girl has already shown how brave and resilient she is. Now that she’s safe, her true personality is shining through — playful, loving, and full of joy. This pup is Chagas negative.

Mara adores people and lights up the moment someone gives her attention. She’s fun, curious, and always ready for cuddles or a game. Whether she’s bouncing around with excitement or curling up for snuggles, she brings happiness wherever she goes.

This precious pup is ready to leave her tough start behind and find a family who will love her forever. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate sweetheart to grow up by your side, Mara is waiting to meet you.

Mara is located in Hondo, Texas. Mara is also available for transport to St. Petersburg, FL on February 21st with an approved application. Her adoption fee is $500 which includes the transport.
