Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shandy is a 10-year-old muted tortoiseshell cat with striking green eyes and a beautiful coat. She's the kind of cat who doesn't need to be the center of attention to feel connected - she prefers to be nearby, quietly sharing your space and keeping you company with her gentle, chatty commentary. Shandy would thrive in a calm, predictable home with someone who appreciates a cat who doesn't demand constant handling, but still wants to be close - a companion who will sit beside you, talk to you, and quietly become part of your daily rhythm. Shandy enjoys affection on her terms. She can become overstimulated, and when she's had enough, she will let you know she needs space. An experienced, cat-savvy person will quickly learn her signals and find her easy to understand. She is not aggressive with other cats. We believe after a very slow transition, she can coexist peacefully with feline companions. If you're looking for a mature, beautiful soul who values respect as much as affection, Shandy may be your perfect match.
