4-year-old Wheaten Terrier 🤍
Soft heart. Sweet kisses. Big feelings.
Learning indoor life one brave step at a time. Could she be your girl? 🐶💛
Lydia is a sweet, gentle girl who is learning what it means to be a loved house dog for the first time. After spending her life outdoors being used for breeding, indoor life is new — but she’s trying her best every day.
She is an anxious, jumpy girl who startles easily, but don’t let that fool you — Lydia is incredibly affectionate and loving. Once she feels safe, she’s a total kissy lovebug who wants nothing more than to be near her people.
She is good with other dogs (big & small) and cats and requires a confident dog in her forever home who can help her feel secure and show her the ropes. Potty training is a work in progress, and Lydia does best with a predictable routine, scheduled breaks, and someone who is home often.
Adoption Requirements:
• Secure 5–6 foot fenced yard (no exceptions)
• Must have a confident, well-balanced dog in the home
• Adults-only household (no children, not due to aggression, but for her safety since she startles easily)
• Calm home environment
• She is on Royal Canin Urinary SO prescription food and must stay on it
• Must be able to physically lift and carry a 30lb dog when needed
Lydia is a sensitive soul who needs patience, consistency, and love — but in return, she’ll give you loyalty, sweetness, and endless kisses 💛🐾
