We might be biased, but Ruby is one of the CUTEST freckle-faced puppies we’ve ever seen 💕 We have no idea what Ruby is or who her parents were, but she is the smartest, most amazing, fun-loving puppy that we can’t get enough of.
Ruby is 5 months old and about 25lbs. She doesn’t have huge paws and doesn’t seem to be growing super fast, so we would take a guess that she may be more of a medium/large dog and end up around 45lbs.
About Ruby:
🌟 She LOVES dogs. She loves playing, chasing and cuddling up to them. She gives no personal space and will lay on a dog’s head 😂 She just assumes every dog is her friend and can’t get enough of her dog friends.
🌟 She LOVES people. Ruby will smother you with kisses, follow you everywhere you go and snuggle up while you watch TV. She’s never met a stranger.
🌟 She’s super smart and food motivated. She knows sit and runs to the treat cabinet and sits down in front of it to show you how smart she is 😂
🌟 She has a big personality and lights up a room. She’s a fearless, brave little puppy who is going to be the most amazing adult dog one day. She’s full of life and not shy.
We would really like for Ruby to have another playful dog in her forever home. But if you don’t have one, please let us know your plan for how/when she will play with other dogs 🐕 She also needs someone home often while she’s still a puppy.
Ruby has age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip and will be spayed. She is in Tampa and her adoption fee is $300.

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.
Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
