My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello friends! I`m the kind of dog that will give you a run for your money...literally, I will run! I`m a high energy dog that loves to play and still has a lot of puppy in me! I need an experienced family to show my how to be the best dog I can be! I`m going to be a lot of fun if someone can give me a chance and the guidance I need!

If I sound like the pup for you than please call my new friends at TCRAS at 719-686-7707 and make an appointment to come meet me!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).

More about this shelter

In the year 2000, the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS) was formed and continued under this leadership to the present day. Our shelter is a small, rural shelter. Every year, over 800 lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and cats get assistance from TCRAS. We do not euthanize for time or space.
