Summer is an eye-catching beauty with both brains and heart. Born around September 2021, she’s primarily Great Pyrenees (about 83%), with a fascinating mix that includes Komondor, Anatolian Shepherd, Chow Chow, Golden Retriever, Doberman, Bluetick Coonhound, and Norwegian Elkhound—giving her a striking presence and a wonderfully balanced personality.
She loves car rides and walks very nicely on leash, making her a great companion for outings. Summer can be a little slow to warm up to new dogs, but with proper introductions she has gone on to enjoy every dog she’s met while in foster care. In fact, she needs a playful canine companion in her permanent home—she adores playing with other dogs, especially puppies, and is always eager to engage her foster siblings in play.
At home, Summer enjoys playing with stuffed toys and is incredibly gentle with them—no shredding here! She also takes her role as a guardian seriously and is a great alert dog, quick to let you know when something enters her space.
Summer is a thoughtful, loyal girl who would thrive in a home that understands large, guardian-type breeds and values both companionship and play. If you’re looking for a devoted dog who’s equal parts gentle friend and watchful protector, Summer may be your perfect match.
