Welcome Maeve! This vibrant and enjoyable little Doberman mix came to Murci's Mission from an independent rescue in Moses Lake. She is Embark DNA tested and weighs about 35lbs. She was born on the streets and has been putting in work to learn how to enjoy the sweet life. She has an estimated birthdate of 03/17/2025 making her a perfect good luck charm.

Maeve is still shy and will need a family willing to put in the work to help her continue on her social journey. As of now, men are atill more intimidating to her but most people can win her over with a few cookies. She loves going for walks and car rides, and she enjoys playing with toys, chilling inside, and playing with other animals. She is dog, cat and kid friendly with children who will respect her space. She is athletic and playful so would make a great hiking or running partner.

Maeve comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, harness, food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist. Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
