Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wishbone is bonded to their companion Twinkles, and the two find comfort and confidence in each other. Together, they’re a beautiful pair who will flourish in a loving home that values enrichment, patience, and connection. Wishbone is a sweet, curious Pearl Pied Cockatiel who loves observing the world around them and greeting their people with soft, gentle vocalizations. They're social, inquisitive, and always happy to come see what’s going on.. especially if a treat is involved!
They truly thrive with out of cage time; where they can stretch their wings, explore, and enjoy freedom of movement. Once they feel safe in a new environment, Wishbone is comfortable going in and out of the cage on their own and will do best in a home that can offer them regular daily time outside of the cage to move, explore, and just be a bird!
If you think Wishbone and Twinkles could be the perfect addition to your home, please click the grey “Apply for Adoption” button to submit an adoption request.

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
