My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Benny, an 8-month-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. I’m still young, still learning, and still discovering just how fun life can be — and I’m having a great time doing it!

I’m a friendly guy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. I actually prefer having a dog buddy around — having a companion makes me feel happy and confident, and it gives me someone to play and nap with. If your home already has a dog, we might just become best friends.

I’m active, playful, and a little silly (okay, maybe a lot silly). I love to move, explore, and make people laugh, but when the day winds down, my favorite place is right next to my person. I’m a total cuddle bug and will happily sleep close, soaking up all the love I can get.

I may be young, but I’m full of heart and ready to give my loyalty to a family who will let me be part of their world. If you’re looking for a funny, affectionate, dog-friendly pup who will keep you smiling and snuggled, I think we’d be perfect together.

Love,
Benny

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
