My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Blue! He was brought to the shelter along with his bestie, Zeus on 1/8 because their former pet parent could no longer take care of the them. Both boys are on a very quick search for a forever home that will keep him and bestie safe and secure so they doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Blue and Zeus are the sweetest kiddos who have a lot of love to give you as they patiently wait for their forever home. They don't deserve to start out their young life in a shelter. Zeus is Blue's support system and they look after each other so sweetly. Blue is only a year old and weighs a mere 54lbs. The volunteers describe him as sweet, cute, obedient, a bit timid, confused and playful. He became playful once he was able to get out of his kennel and play in our off leash area. He had a blast fetching, chasing each other! He is also a smart young man as he knows to sit when asked especially for treats and he may know more. He is a bit strong on the leash but that could come from being so excited to get out of his kennel. With proper training and patience from you, he will have that figured out in no time at all! Blue and Zeus are reported to be good with children and dog friendly. Please take some time and visit with him and his bestie in Run 858; his ID is 16228. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, patience, devotion, love, and lifestyle to ensure that Blue has the best upbringing possible. If you have space in your heart and home to welcome both boys and be committed and patient with them, they would be forever grateful to their new family.

Blue is current on vaccines, neutered, will be microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Blue is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for him forever family to save his life.
