My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW YEAR’S THEMED KITTEN:  Approx. 2-3 months old  / Approx. 2.5 lbs. & growing

Hi, my name’s Confetti!  My siblings and I found ourselves in need of good homes and – thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to get us into a great foster home, where we have been growing and thriving for a few weeks now.  The time has come to meet our new families, so I hope you have room in your home and heart for a sweet, furry family member!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I love my siblings, of course, and I get along fine with the 13-year-old kitty who lives in my foster home.  I’d likely enjoy another kitty friend in my new home, too. / There are three dogs in my foster home, and I hang out around them with no problems.  If you have a kitty-friendly dog, let’s meet! / I enjoy spending time with the kids who visit my foster home (ages 11 and 14).  Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten.  Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  I’m a very sweet, energetic little girl who thinks new people are the best thing ever.  I love popping out of hiding spots to surprise everyone, then zooming off to explore whatever catches my eye next.  Are you ready to be entertained by fun kitten antics?  I’m your girl!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  Walking across keyboards is one of my special talents (especially when you’re busy), and toys are basically my fuel for nonstop fun.  I’m always on the move, always curious, and always ready to make friends, but when I slow down for a moment, I’m full of sweetness and happy purrs.  Life is an adventure, and I plan to explore every inch of it — one playful step at a time. / Quick motions (like grabbing me) and big dogs startle me at times.  Otherwise, I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL:  I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped.  I'm not yet spayed due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more.  Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only.

I am looking for wonderful home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
