My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate date of birth: 7/3/2025 | Meet our irresistible duo: Barry Bart, the cuddly goofball, and Lisa Marie, his sweet and sassy sister! You'll quickly fall in love watching these two interact! Meet Barry Bart, a ridiculously affectionate 6 month old orange kitten, Bart is the perfect balance of playful adventurer and devoted cuddle bug. His day involves playing with his sister, chasing toys, climbing cat trees. However, the moment he is tired, he transforms into a soft, purring loaf. He absolutely demands lap time and loves to rub against your legs, offering head bumps and loud, rumbling purrs to show his affection. This kitten is intelligent, charming, and deeply bonded with his sweet tabby sister. Bart and Lisa are the definition of best friends, always following each other and sharing every nap spot. They feed off each other's energy, making play time hilarious and adorable. When the day is done, they curl up in the tightest, coziest kitten pile you can imagine, offering a constant source of comfort to one another. As they rely so heavily on one another, Bart and Lisa must be adopted together. They are looking for a loving home that is ready for twice the fun, twice the entertainment, and twice the unconditional love. They are ready to bring their unique bond and charm to your family! Sociable with cats: Loves them and requires a feline companion at all times. | Sociable with dogs: Unknown but optimistic ( has not met a dog) Sociable with kids of any age| Health information: All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, preventatively dewormed, and microchipped. In addition, they are FeLV/FIV tested and vaccinated as appropriate by age. | Interested in adopting? Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
