My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*NEEDS A HOME W/ ANOTHER KITTEN OR PLAYFUL CAT - solo kittens will not be placed by themselves in a home w/ no playmate*

Klondike is a confident, playful white kitten with a tiny gray mohawk-looking stripe on her forehead and a big personality. She’s the most energetic and playful of her sisters and always the first to jump into action. Klondike loves interactive play, chasing toys, climbing, and leading the fun. She has so much fun that she has mastered every kind of kitten play on four legs so odds are you will catch her on just two legs from time to time! Despite her independent vibe, she will rub against you for attention and sometimes meow to let you know she wants love and try to cuddle after running out of energy during playtime. She would thrive in a home that enjoys active kittens, interactive play, and plenty of affection. Adopt her now for ongoing years of fun and cuddles!

Currently in foster care in Hollywood. Meet & greets / pickup will be coordinated upon approved application & homecheck video. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community. Thanks for your support!

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer run cat rescue whose mission is to prevent shelter impounds. Los Angeles is filled with high kill municipal shelters, and the chances of any cat getting out alive are slim to none. Our volunteers work directly with the public to rescue abandoned, homeless, injured/sick community cats off the streets of Los Angeles, place them into foster homes, rehabilitate them & get them UTD on vetting, and finally place them into loving forever indoor homes.
