Gertrude is a very timid but gentle soul. She was trapped in order to be rescued and heavily matted when we got her. She does not trust people yet, but will sleep in bed with me and the other dogs and sometimes in the mornings she will lick my face but she avoids human tough still. She has not tried to bite or nip but she will take time to learn to trust. For this reason she needs a very quiet home with no kids who could accidentally let her out. If she were to escape there would likely be no catching her. She weighs about 9-10 lbs and is about 2 years old.
Gertrude is spayed, upt on shots, and microchipped. She is heartworm positive but has been given meds and Proheart 12. She needs to be retested in 6 mos (June) and if she is positive we will pay for another Proheart injection.
