My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kronk,

This big boy is BIGGER energy and is looking for a new home! Kronk found his way into the BCSPA with a broken leg requiring urgent medical care. Thankfully, with the help of wonderful donors like you, Kronk was able to save his leg and get the much needed FHO surgery he required!

Kronk recently had his sutures removed and is getting back to life on all 4 paws. He is a VERY high energy boy, with a zest for adventure and exploration!! He loves to go outside on walks, and is a very strong puller on leash. He is working on remaining calm on lead and will need an experienced and patient guardian who can help him navigate these learning hurdles. He has been on low energy cage rest for the last month and this has caused some frustration in his day to day. As he heals, the vet has advised no off leash running for the next few months while he is rebuilding the strength in his right hind leg.

He would do best in a detached home with direct yard access. He is very active and can be vocal when left alone. He is friendly with people but can become very excitable with handling. He would do best in an adult only home without any other small animals.

If you would like to get to know more about this big boy, stop by the shelter between 12pm-3pm Tuesday-Sunday! We welcome online applications, but we prioritize in-person meetings and applications.
