May the purrs be ever in your favor—because Catnip Everdeen has entered the arena. This orange-splashed tabby is fierce, fabulous, and fully convinced she is the main character in every room.

Catnip is equal parts rebel and sweetheart. She’ll hunt toy mice like a champion, then dramatically retire for a well-earned nap in a sunbeam. She’s got that orange-cat confidence with tabby-cat sass, and yes… she knows she’s adorable and uses it to her advantage.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
