My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tangent is a precious senior girl, approximately 10 years old, currently in foster care through the Town of Thompson. She came to us as an owner surrender when her previous owner could no longer provide the care she needed. Despite everything she’s been through, Tangent remains incredibly loving, gentle, and full of heart.

Upon intake in October, Tangent required immediate medical attention for bilateral chronic ear infections and Lyme disease, both of which have been treated. Further evaluation revealed that she also needs dental care, with an estimated cost of $1,500, to help her live comfortably and pain-free.

Tangent is truly a gem — great with kids, cats, and everyone she meets. She has the sweetest personality and the most adorable little dance when she walks that’s guaranteed to make you smile. 💃🐾

This sweet girl deserves a warm home, soft bed, and a future free from pain. She’s given nothing but love, and now she’s hoping for someone to give her a second chance at the happy, healthy life she deserves.

💗 Let’s help Tangent find her forever home and the care she needs.
Every share, donation, and kind word helps make that possible.

Additional adoption info

When you adopt from the shelter you receive a voucher that helps cover spay or neuter, and 2 shots. If there is any balance, or additional fees, it is the owners responsibility to cover the additional fees. The voucher is only valid for CT residents.

Go meet their pets

The shelter is locked at all times, to avoid random interactions with the dogs. All dogs are visible online, and then an appointment can be set up, or if the ACO van is on property during the week, then someone can stop by.
