My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boots is a sweet 1.5 year old lab/terrier mix. He is friendly and sweet but can be shy at first and is still learning the ropes of being in a home. Rescued from Mexico, Boots sleeps in his crate and is friendly with other dogs. He is around 48 lbs and is about potty trained with a doggy door.

He’s working on commands like sit, and has great recall with his name. He’s still shy on walks with loud noises. Boots is quickly thriving into an amazing family dog. Boots is a loving pup that is looking for a patient and loving home!

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
