Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sunlight: Your Personal Ray of Golden Solitude
Sunlight is a stunning 9-year-old gray beauty who is ready to find her true forever home. While her name suggests warmth and brightness, her personality is what will truly light up your life. Sunlight came to us as a stray, but through some detective work, we learned she was once a cherished pet whose owner sadly had to rehome her due to personal health challenges.
Now, Sunlight is looking for a soft place to land where she can be the center of someone`s universe. We want Sunlight to start her new chapter feeling her absolute best! While staying with us at the shelter, she received a full dental cleaning and checkup. She’s all set with a sparkling smile and is ready to enjoy her favorite treats and meals in her new home.
Though Sunlight lived with another feline companion for her entire life, she has decided that she is officially retiring from the roommate life. She has spent enough time sharing the spotlight and is now looking for a home where she can be your one and only.
Sunlight is fearful of dogs and would prefer a canine-free sanctuary where she feels safe and secure. While she hasn’t lived with kids , her previous owner believes her gentle nature would make her a great fit for a family with children.
Sunlight is a true `people cat.` She thrives on human connection and wants nothing more than to hang out by your side while you read, work, or relax.
Sunlight is front-declawed. Because she lacks her primary means of defense, she must be an strictly indoor-only cat. She will need a home that understands the extra care declawed cats sometimes require, such as soft litter and a watchful eye on her paw comfort.
Sunlight is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is more than ready to find a peaceful home where she can shower her new family with love.
