Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Star - A Shy Beauty Who Blossoms on Her Own Time
Star is a 1-year-old, spayed female with an adoption fee of $145, and she’s every bit as striking as her name suggests. Rescued by a kind Samaritan and cared for over eight months, she’s now looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved.
With her big green eyes and sleek black-onyx coat, Star is the kind of cat who turns heads without even trying. But what makes her truly special is the quiet, gentle way she learns to trust.
What Makes Star Shine, she is a little sassy at first: She may give you a “hmm, who are you?” look in the beginning, but it’s all part of her charm.
Shy but deeply sweet, She prefers to keep to herself until she feels comfortable, and then she softens beautifully.
A one-and-only kind of girl, she hasn’t lived with other cats or dogs, so a calm, predictable home will help her thrive. No small children please, she does not like to be picked up until she is comfortable. She`s a slow-blossoming companion, once she decides you’re her person, she’ll show affection in her own gentle, heartfelt way.
A stunning onyx beauty, her coat and eyes make her look like a little midnight jewel. Star isn’t the type to rush into anything and that’s exactly what makes earning her trust so rewarding. She’s perfect for someone who appreciates a cat with boundaries, personality, and a soft heart beneath the shyness.
Walk-in hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - 12:00–4:00 PM
If those times don’t work, you can fill out the Adoption Inquiry Form on our website under the FORMS tab, and we’ll gladly arrange a meet-and-greet that fits your schedule.
