Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rosie 🌸
Rosie is a super cute, sweet girl with a heart full of love and a serious weakness for chin and head scratches. She’s very people-oriented and affectionate, and once she feels comfortable, she melts right into you like warm butter.
Rosie likes to be in control of her space and interactions—when she can set the pace, she feels safe and confident. She’s curious but cautious, taking in the world thoughtfully before fully diving in. Give her a few gentle chin scratches, though, and all bets are off—she’ll happily pause whatever she’s doing (even making biscuits!) just to soak up the love.
With her soft, gentle nature, Rosie would make a wonderful lap cat for someone who appreciates a calm, affectionate companion. She’s the kind of cat who bonds deeply, leans into your touch, and reminds you how special quiet, loving moments can be.
If you’re looking for a sweet, tender soul to share your couch and your heart, Rosie might just be your perfect match 💕🐾
Rosie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. You can meet her daily at the shelter between 12-6pm. For more information, email adoptions@caspca.org

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
