My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Fostered in the GTA*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website.

Say hello to the adorable Quinn, affectionately known as Q-tip! He is an awesome little puppy who would do well in any home. An ideal home would offer a mix of relaxed downtime with plenty of couch time and cuddling, and some regular opportunities for play, including games of fetch and a favourite chew toy. As a puppy, he is still learning manners and would benefit from continued training, routine, and gentle guidance. He learns and warms up quickly. They do well on their own or with others. Quinn is a joy to be around and is sure to bring a lot of love and snuggles to his future family!

How does this dog react to meeting new dogs? Neutral - will say hello nicely, Submissive

What type(s) of dogs does this dog prefer/be best with?

He appears to do well with other dogs at least with my resident dog who is 35-lbs, initially showing neutral/indifferent behaviour before warming up and engaging in short bursts of play. He tends to take cues from the other dog and would likely do well with another dog. Otherwise he is fine by himself, I don't think he requires another dog.

House training: Is peepad trained however is known to miss the pad, will need ongoing training to go outside

Any noted separation anxiety? None observed

Additional adoption info

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue is looking for committed adopters, ready to bring a rescue dog into their life. In order to ensure that we find the best homes for our dogs, adoption applicants must go through an adoption approval process. We receive a number of applications for each dog and only one will be chosen as the successful candidate. Candidates are selected based on the dog's needs. Not being selected for the dog that you applied for does not disqualify you from adopting from us in the future.

Go meet their pets

We do our very best to place our dogs into adoptive homes before they arrive into Canada. This ensures that they have a safe and loving place to go after their long journey up North. All dogs adopted through R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue will receive a 15 day adoption probation period. This period starts the day the dog enters the care of the adopter. This means that the adoptive family has 15 days to determine that dog is a good fit for them. Although it may feel scary to not meet the dog before adopting, the 15 day period allows you to get to know the dog within your home. If you buy a dog off of Kijiji or at a local shelter you may be given a couple hours to meet the dog. We believe that our program's 15 day probation provides much more insight into how he or she will fit into your home, rather than. a brief meet and greet.
