My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ELLEN

Ellen is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing 59 lbs with a fun, active personality and a big love for her people.

?? Potty trained

?? Good manners when out of the crate

?? Leash trained (would benefit from continued training)

?? Good with other dogs

Best with older kids

Ellen is affectionate and truly loves her humans. She thrives on attention and connection and would be happiest with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. She would make an excellent running or walking partner and would love an adopter who can help her burn energy in healthy ways.

This smart, young girl is still learning, but with consistency and exercise, she’ll be an amazing companion for someone ready to keep up with her zest for life.

Ellen is located in Houston, Tx. but can be transported to most states for $300.00

More about this rescue

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
