London is a sweet, affectionate young girl with a soft gray-and-white medium-length coat and the most charming personality. Under a year old, she’s reached that perfect stage where she’s playful and curious, yet also thoughtful and cuddly. London loves being near her people—whether she’s napping close by, supervising your work, or initiating a gentle staring contest to get your attention. Once she warms up, she becomes a very present, loving companion who enjoys sharing space and routines with her favorite humans.
This gentle girl has a medium energy level and enjoys a good mix of playtime and relaxation. She goes wild for string toys and elastic (hair ties beware—she will steal them) and has even taught herself how to play fetch. London prefers pets on her own terms and especially loves scratches on her cheeks and the top of her head. When she’s feeling extra cozy, she’s happy to accept pets all over. She tolerates being held, travels well in her carrier with a few treats, and is a clean, respectful roommate with excellent litter box habits.
London would thrive in a quieter home where she has frequent access to her people and time to build trust at her own pace. While she hasn’t lived with other cats yet, her playful and social nature suggests she could do well with a feline friend. She may also adjust to children with time and guidance, as she’s still learning not to gently nip when overstimulated. One of her cutest quirks? Extra fluffy fur between her toes that makes her look like a little cartoon character when she zooms across hardwood floors.
London is FIV+, but not a big deal! She is healthy, happy and good with other cats.

Lulu’s Locker Rescue is a nonprofit, volunteer-run companion animal rescue working to bring to light the plight of black cats and dogs in shelters as well as the misconceptions surrounding FIV cats. We aim to lower the euthanasia rate of these animals by educating the public and providing foster care as we seek out permanent homes. We are committed to the protection of the misjudged and wrongly stereotyped through compassion and respect, which we believe both animals and human beings deserve.
We are based out of Frankfort, IL, and rescue cats and dogs in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
