Groot is a sweet and sensitive 2 year old kitty who is looking for a quiet and patient forever home to call his own! Groot came to our shelter alongside 13 other cats after they were seized by law enforcement. This gentleman was very nervous and scared when he first arrived at our shelter, but he is getting braver and more comfortable every day! We think in a calm home environment with a bit of time and patience, he will slowly come out of his shell and you will see the amazing and affectionate side of him that he has begun to show us! Groot seems to feel more comfortable around other friendly kitties, but we aren`t sure how he feels about dogs just yet. Mr. Groot is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on his vaccinations! This lovely and handsome boy is all ready to find a loving forever home today!

Cats are $70.00, kittens are $100. Dogs are $100.00 and puppies are $150. This includes the spay or neuter, vaccination, microchips, a voucher for a free health exam at a local vet. We require photo identification and required adoption paperwork. You may take your new pet home the same day. There is a 7 day grace period for a refund to make sure that the animal is a fit for your household.

We are located at 1400 Fairgrounds Rd. in Eagle, Colorado. Our shelter is open from 10 AM to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays. We would love to introduce you to our adoptable pets and help you meet your new best friend!

We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly.
