From the Foster: Chonk is based from the character from goonies. Because he is obsessed with food, very silly, vocal, stubborn, dramatic, but loving!
He is all business when it comes to food. He can hear a bag opening or me giving treats to my cats mile away, even if he is dead asleep.
He would be best with a family that is experienced with strong willed dogs. When he isn’t busy chewing or playing, the. He wants to be next to you, especially on the couch or on the bed.
He does have a high prey drive and loves to chase chickens, play rough with the cats, overtake rabbits, and enthusiastically shakes his plush toys.
He has started potty training and it good with ques to go poo poo or pee pee or potty. I open the door when they wake up and they know to go outside to relieve himself.
He is going to be a big boy! He is very confident, brave, curious, energetic, strong willed, and happy guy! If he falls down he shakes it off and continues on his way.
He is hot blooded, as he rather be cool and not wrapped up in blankets. He will sleep on the floor if it’s too hot or away from you once he gets too hot.
But he loves our pomchi puppy, big rescue pup, and all the other animals. We don’t ha e kids, so not sure. But he needs to work on his bite, as it ca be hard.
