My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From the Foster: Dobby the House Pup is like the character in Harry Potter. He is small, faithful, has a constant worried looks on his face, a little sensitive, dramatic, mischievous, and loving! BUT don’t let that fool you, he can stand his ground, but prefers not to. Like the character.

He is a big baby and has had some accidents in the house, which he screamed like he was getting murdered. So, to calm him down I hold him and give him kisses. Even though the puppies like to play in the yard, when it`s cold Dobby rather stay in the house. He gets cold easily and prefers being wrapped in blankets or in the fluffy beds around the house, which are really for the cats. But his favorite is him sleeping next to you on the bed to stay safe and warm.

He would be good with any family, as he`s not too rough with the other animals. He still has a prey drive and will chase the chickens, but it`s short lived. He rather find something to chew on or play with the pups. Right now, my cat and him are sleeping near each other on the bed. If you tell the puppies `Night Night` then they know it`s a cue to go to sleep.

He has started potty training and does well with prompts to poo poo or pee pee or potty, especially when I open the door when the puppies wake up. BUT if it`s chilly you got to encourage him or bring him outside.

Unfortunately, using pee pads and towels when they were younger makes them pee or poo on anything soft. But with potty training and `don`t pee here` sprays he should get the hang of it.
