Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Priya is a loving dog who needs a new home through no fault of her own. Sadly, her human mom is very sick and no longer able to care for her. Priya has low to moderate energy levels, with the occasional zoomie in the yard and often seen carrying a toy, but she is also mellow enough to hang out with you inside.
Priya was previously crate trained and doggy door trained, but she may need a refresher on using those. Priya would do best as the only animal, as she tends to chase cats and doesn't always get along with other dogs. That being said, if you're able to open your home to Priya, you will be getting a lifetime of love and companionship. She is loyal and loves her people more than anything.
Priya is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
